The CityWatch Community Alert Notification System is a comprehensive solution designed to enhance communication efforts between the Department, local law enforcement, emergency management offices and targeted groups of residents, businesses, and internal staff. The purpose of the system is to quickly and reliably disseminate critical information in a clear and consistent manner. In the event that there is an emergency at a facility, you will receive an automated telephone call from the Department of Juvenile Services. A second call will be made to inform residents when the situation has been resolved.
How to be Added to the Community Notification System
If you would like to be added to the system, please call the toll free number 1-877-DJS-KID2. You will be asked your name, phone number and/or email and the name of the facility you would like to receive information about.
